STEPHANIE DELK

STEPHANIE DELK

Austin, TX

 stephanie_delk

Stephanie Delk’s career began early, with impromptu concerts offered in the shower during childhood. Not far from there, it was a journey to the east coast and a Bachelor of Music degree earned at the esteemed Berklee College of Music. There, she picked up a guitar and traveled the range of styles from jazz to country until she found the voice you hear pouring from her onstage today in folk/rock waves of intelligence and heartbreak. With influences found in Patty Griffin, Jonatha Brooke and other strong, lyrically intense and harmonically simple artists, her songwriting and full bodied voice have grown into a style all her own.

RACHEL LYNN

RACHEL LYNN

Austin, TX

Wisconsin-born Lynn grew up in Northern Virginia, but by relocating to Austin, Texas, she’s firmly planted herself in an artistically enriched region where stellar singer/songwriters are the primary crop. Whenever Rachel Lynn sings, it’s impossible not to stop, take notice, and listen. Her style combines an urgently strummed acoustic guitar with a dead-serious vocal tone. Listeners easily relate to Lynn’s songs because she is like an honest friend who is unafraid to tell the truth, even if it hurts. So rather than stringing together lyrical lines of sugarcoated happy talk, she uses her words to help and heal.

New to the Austin music scene, the Brbarians of Sevilla are a unique mix of musical influences,: 70s guitars, jazz rock / punk bass, flamenco drums and guitars, and bilingual vocals.  Their music is based in the great music from the 1960's, 70's, and '80s, to which they add unexpected touches of middle Eastern and Spanish flavor. They are truly a bunch of music-loving gypsies, at heart.

PLAYER ONE

Austin, TX

Player One is the illegitimate love child of Phil Lynnot, Geddy Lee, Johann Sebastian Bach and a band of outlaw polka musicians. For those who have yet to feel Player One’s musical might, this consummation may seem implausible. However, belief is inevitable after one experience of the band’s sonic diversity and rock n roll potency.  Audiences describe Player One as high energy, infectious, melodic, passionate, and sexy.

TARA CRAIG

TARA CRAIG

Austin, TX

tara craig

Tara Craig burst onto the Austin music scene in 2007, captivating audiences with a voice that is equal parts soulful and vulnerable, and lyrics that come straight from the gut. From empowering spirituals to quiet love songs, there's an intimate, timeless quality to Tara's sound. There's tremendous variety in Tara's songs, but they're each tied together by a kind of longing— a longing for family, freedom, God, and unrequited love.

“Tara Craig, one talented and wonderful explosion that dazzles the eyes like fireworks, melts in your mouth like lemon drops and drops your jaw with melodic notes that carry you down the road on air long after the lights dim and the show is over."- Brent Brewster , Fan Quote

KIMO SABE

KIMO SABE

Austin, TX

kimo1

Kimo Sabe is Thomas Hubert and Doug Lumbley, a 30 year acoustic act, but it is so much more. They go from gorgeous ballads to biting political satire in a second, then have you on the floor laughing the next. The duo is great entertainment as well as great music.
